Feline Heartworm Testing!!
Until very recently, testing cats for Heartworm Infection
was not practical in the hospital setting.  Animed is
now offering Heartworm screening for cats using a
simple blood test.  While there are no approved cures
for feline heartworm, ruling this disease out can guide
therapy for other chronic respiratory disease. Animed
now has Comfortis, a monthly oral flea prevention for
dogs, and Profender a topical dewormer for cats.
