ProHeart 6 Information Page!! ProHeart 6 is being re-released in the U.S. market after safely and effectively being used in several overseas markets for the last several years.  Due to concerns with the use of the product in the initial release, new protocols and requirements have been implemented to ensure the health of your pet.   Age-- All dogs to be started on ProHeart 6 must be between 6 months and 7 years of age Health--   Patients that are sick or debilitated will not be given ProHeart 6, and all dogs must undergo a complete physical with baseline labwork to ensure they are healthy enough for the shot.  Also, owners must sign a consent form indicating that they have been informed of the benefits and risks of ProHeart 6. Allergies-- Dogs with allergies may not be given ProHeart 6 if their condition is deemed serious enough by our veterinarians.
